The Luther Automotive Group is seeking anAUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTORto provide both classroom and lab (shop hands on) instruction at the Luther Technical Training Center. Responsibilities

• Provide class (lecture) and lab (shop hands-on) instruction as required by course content
• Teach approved classes and/or support lab activities as requested
• Prepare for classroom lecture and hands-on training (lab) activities daily
• Complete administrative work including grading, curriculum support and student tutoring
• Attend all required team and department meetings
• Ensure all safety and compliance requirements are met in classes and on the floor
• Maintain confidentiality of all work information
• Participate in educator and professional development

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management
• Ability to deliver educational materials to diverse students in a classroom/clinical setting
• Ability to follow directions within established guideline and contribute to a team environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Experience in teaching a plus
• Experience in industry as an automotive technician (master tech 10 years plus)
