Must be local to TX Job Description We are seeking a Data Governance Architect to partner closely with a CPG domain lead on a business-driven data transformation. This role will focus on the technical enablement of data governance , including architecture, policy design, and metadata management. You’ll be responsible for translating business inputs into scalable governance frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Define and implement data governance models Conduct data discovery and profiling across systems, in collaboration with the Industry Domain Consultant. Develop metadata models, data lineage maps, and critical data element catalogs. Guide master data and reference data management strategy. Support tool selection and implementation (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation). Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Enable change management and user adoption across business and IT. Qualifications: ~10+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, or related roles. ~ Hands-on experience with governance tools and metadata management solutions. ~ Strong collaboration skills—ability to partner with business consultants and technical teams. ~ Deep knowledge of data standards, quality frameworks, and regulatory compliance. ~ Background in CPG domain preferred but not required.
