Denver, Colorado, Department of Marketing Position Overview The Department of Marketing at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. These are temporary, non-tenure track roles with varying semester-to-semester needs. Not all applicants will be contacted or selected. About MSU Denver MSU Denver is a diverse, urban university located in downtown Denver, serving over 16,000 students, with a focus on access and inclusion. Responsibilities Teach 3–9 credit hours, primarily Principles of Marketing, but also possibly International Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and other courses. Participate in program assessment activities. Provide academic support and consultation to students, maintaining office hours. Deliver course content in person or online, prepare materials, grade, and provide feedback. Maintain compliance with university policies on instruction and evaluation. Qualifications Master’s degree in the relevant field. Substantial professional experience (minimum ten years), current at the time of hire, with increasing responsibility. For teaching graduate courses, at least twenty years of relevant experience with senior responsibilities. If the degree is outside the field, significant professional experience is required. Must maintain professional qualifications. Employment Details Part-time, at-will, non-benefited positions, paid per credit hour. Teaching is primarily on campus. Salary varies based on credit hours.
