Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Flatbed to work in Cleveland, OH. Compensation Hourly pay $25.00 per hour (CDLB) $27.00 per hour (CDLA) Overtime paid after 40 hours per week Typical work week is 45-50 hours per week Bi-weekly paychecks Eligibility begins on the first of the month after 30 days of employment Medical, Dental, Vision PTO (Personal and Vacation Days) Paid Holidays 401K with company match Employee stock purchase plan Steel toe boots provided ($150 annual shoe allowance) Company attire including t-shirts and hats provided Work Schedule Monday-Friday Typically work 630am-430pm, work until work is completed. Home every day, no overnights. Make local 4-5 stops per day, typically within 1 hour radius. Must be flexible with work schedule. Routing can change frequently throughout today. Responsibilities Delivering and unloading building supplies to commercial and residential job sites, retail stores, etc. Delivery of bundles of shingles with driver helper, no rooftop. Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations. Drive single chassis flatbed truck with Moffett and/or boom. Provide excellent customer service and on-time deliveries. Checking mechanical aspects of vehicles. Reporting maintenance/repair issues on trucks and/or equipment. Requirements Must be 21 years of age. Minimum of 1 year experience using CDL A or CDL B commercial license. Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical. NCCCO boom certification required prior to interview. Building distribution experience delivering building supplies, drywall, and/or dump trucks is preferred. Flatbed and/or Conveyer/boom experience delivering building supplies a plus but will train. Hazmat endorsement preferred, must be willing to obtain upon hire. Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses/ Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors. Legally eligible to work in the U.S.. Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English. Be able to lift, push, pull 75-100 pounds with no assistance.
